About the role

A Sales Executive position is open in Johannesburg, reporting to the Managing Director. The role focuses on generating new business while maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers, targeting the agricultural, sugar, mining, electricity, gas, water and related industries. Candidates should have previous experience in a metal foundry or castings environment.

Key responsibilities

Develop new business through extensive travel to new and existing clients
Build relationships with potential clients
Act as technical liaison between the foundry and clients
Assist in quoting on new jobs for potential clients

Required profile

Matric certificate with Engineering Drawing as one of the subjects
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering advantageous
Foundry-related trade advantageous
Proven sales track record; minimum 5 years of metal foundry experience essential
Ability to work independently in assigned regions

Required skills

Reading engineering drawings
Understanding technical terminology
