TeamMate Manager

About the role

PwC, acting as the business partner of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting in Southern Africa, is hiring a TeamMate Manager in Johannesburg. As the sole distributor of TeamMate solutions and their implementation services in the region, PwC delivers audit and compliance software to clients across industries. The role covers pre-sales, implementation, training and support, and requires the manager to become a product expert.

Key responsibilities

• Pre-sales: research how TeamMate fits the client's current and future business, demonstrate how the software addresses client problems and stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes
• Implementation: run business analysis and information-gathering sessions, identify risks and agree mitigation plans, configure the software to match the client's business processes
• Training: train end users on software functionality before go-live
• Support: provide ad-hoc customer support
• Share expertise with colleagues, collaborate on corporate, department and project goals, attend manager, team and department meetings, report activities and engage professionally with client employees

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and fluency in English
• Internal audit certification (e.g. CIA, CRMA, CISA) or knowledge of internal audit, corporate governance, risk management or compliance
• Solid experience implementing configurable software and delivering customer training in a B2B environment
• Experience in a presales or consultative sales role is advantageous but not required
• Internal audit, risk, accountancy or compliance background is an advantage but not essential
• Availability to start within 4-8 weeks; travel up to 20%

Required skills

• Complex problem-solving and analysis, and strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
