Sales Director – Distribution (Middle East, Africa & Central Asia)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to shape and execute our distribution strategy across the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. The role will lead the development of multi‑country distributor networks, drive revenue growth and strengthen our market presence in diverse consumer electronics, mobile phone and home‑appliance markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a regional distribution strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Build, manage and optimise distributor and channel partner networks across multiple countries.
• Drive sales growth, market penetration and channel efficiency.
• Lead distributor selection, onboarding, performance management and capability development.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Product teams for seamless go‑to‑market execution.
• Define and monitor KPIs such as sales targets, inventory turnover, pricing discipline and channel profitability.
• Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and consumer behaviour to adjust strategies.
• Manage regional pricing frameworks, promotions and incentive programmes.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, trade policies and corporate governance.
• Maintain strong relationships with key distributors, strategic partners and major accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field.
• 5–10 years of sales and distribution management experience in consumer electronics, mobile phones or home appliances.
• Proven track record managing distribution businesses in the Middle East and/or Africa; Central Asia experience is a plus.
• Deep understanding of regional distributor models, channel structures and route‑to‑market strategies.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel frequently across the region.
• Fluent English; additional languages (Chinese, Arabic, French, Russian) are advantageous.
