Rotational Pharmacist – Band 6 (Aberdeen)

About the role

We are seeking ambitious and motivated pharmacists to join our Band 6 rotational team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The role involves a structured rotation across several hospitals in Aberdeen, providing exposure to a wide range of pharmacy specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate through medicine, cancer, surgery, paediatrics, aseptic dispensing, medicines information, dispensary, radiopharmacy and quality assurance departments.
• Provide pharmacy services and support to clinical teams in each specialty.
• Participate in the on‑call rota and complete training for on‑call duties after an initial settling period.
• Contribute to the development of new facilities such as the ANCHOR Cancer Centre and the Baird Family Hospital.

Required profile

• Qualified pharmacist or foundation pharmacist in training (qualifying July/Aug 2026).
• Ambitious, motivated and willing to work across multiple specialties.
• Commitment to join the on‑call rota.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Aberdeen.
