About the role

We are looking for a Retail Assistant to ensure the store runs smoothly and delivers an inspiring, personalised experience to every customer. You will be responsible for staffing the shop, maintaining visual standards and driving sales through motivated team leadership.

Key responsibilities

Staff the store according to agreed schedules and manage operational activities.
Create a welcoming, inspirational experience for customers and drive sales targets.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and a clean, fully replenished sales floor.
Manage stock levels, losses and shrinkage, and ensure correct pricing and signage.
Follow point‑of‑sale and banking procedures and uphold store policies.

Required profile

Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
Minimum two years’ experience supervising a small retail team.
Passion for cosmetics, beauty and skincare products.
Strong customer‑service orientation and hands‑on work ethic.
Ability to work flexible schedules and stand for long periods.

Required skills

Excel (basic proficiency).
