Restaurant Director

About the role

Food Concepts 360 is looking for an experienced, commercially‑driven Restaurant Director to steer the operational direction, standards and development of its hospitality portfolio and consultancy projects across Africa and the Middle East. This senior leadership role requires a proven hospitality professional with extensive multi‑outlet, hotel and luxury restaurant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational strategy, standards and performance for all hospitality projects.
• Drive efficiency, profitability and consistent service standards across restaurant and F&B operations.
• Establish and maintain exceptional guest experience and service standards.
• Manage budgets, P&L, labour costs and operating expenses to meet profitability targets.
• Recruit, mentor and develop General Managers, Restaurant Managers and operational teams.
• Provide operational leadership for new concept launches, restaurant openings and development projects.
• Contribute to concept design, layout, staffing structures and operational planning.
• Develop and enforce SOPs, reporting structures, controls and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to ensure quality and commercial performance.
• Oversee training, pre‑opening readiness and client/stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Travel across Africa and the Middle East to provide hands‑on support.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Management or a related field.
• Proven senior‑level experience as a Restaurant Director, Operations Director or equivalent.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop concepts from strategy to delivery.
