About the role
We are looking for a motivated Remote Office Receptionist to manage front‑of‑house functions in a fully virtual environment. You will handle communications, coordinate schedules, and provide administrative support to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, appointments, and calls for team members.
- Greet and assist virtual visitors and clients via video calls or online platforms.
- Maintain and update digital filing systems, contact lists, and internal records.
- Coordinate courier bookings, mail handling, and office supply orders when required.
- Support management with general administrative tasks and ad‑hoc requests.
- Ensure all communications are handled with professionalism and discretion.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist, front‑desk, or administrative support role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
- Reliable home office setup with a stable internet connection.
- Matric certificate; a diploma in Office Administration or similar is advantageous.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Google Workspace
- Scheduling tools such as Calendly, Google Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook
