Recruitment Consultant – Offshore Contracts

About the role

Darwin Recruitment is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join its Offshore Contracts team in Umhlanga, South Africa. Working closely with the Offshore Contracts Consultant in the UK, you will source and place highly skilled contract professionals on international offshore projects, ensuring client needs are met within tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source high‑quality contract professionals across offshore markets.
• Conduct proactive headhunting using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, internal databases and networking.
• Execute high‑volume cold outreach to engage passive candidates.
• Screen and qualify candidates against client specifications.
• Maintain strong relationships with contractors throughout the recruitment process.
• Manage candidate pipelines and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
• Collaborate with the UK‑based Offshore Contracts Consultant to meet client requirements.
• Keep accurate candidate records in the CRM and stay updated on offshore industry trends.
• Consistently achieve delivery KPIs and recruitment targets.

Required profile

• Previous recruitment experience (180 recruitment, delivery recruitment or full 360).
• Proven ability to generate candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms.
• Strong headhunting and cold‑outreach skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
• Proactive, resilient and target‑driven mindset.
