Recruitment and Selection Consultant – East Coast Region

About the role

SanlamConnect is looking for a Recruitment and Selection Consultant to lead the focused hiring of financial advisers in the East Coast Region. Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager, you will play a key part in building a high‑performing advisory network.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, attract and recruit advisers aligned with business needs.
• Screen and select candidates using the internal MyWorkSpace system.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure compliance with SanlamConnect policies.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to forecast staffing requirements.

Required profile

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Commercial, marketing or business‑related diploma/degree (HR qualification preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a recruitment environment; experience recruiting financial advisers is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Good understanding of financial services distribution and South African employment legislation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience using Lotus Notes and internet search engines for sourcing.
• Familiarity with the MyWorkSpace internal selection platform.
• Knowledge of recruitment policies, advertising, manpower planning and candidate profiling.
