Receptionist / Night Audit Relief

About the role

Dream Hotels & Resorts is seeking a friendly and reliable Receptionist to provide front‑desk service and occasional night‑audit relief. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences while supporting the night‑audit team when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an orderly front‑desk area, keep documents organized, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
• Prepare bills, process payments, and handle special guest requests such as ticket bookings or safe‑keeping of valuables.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to the manager to preserve guest comfort.
• Build positive relationships with guests, address complaints courteously, and uphold the resort’s image.
• Assist with night‑audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions, verifying guest accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• 1‑2 years of front‑of‑house or related experience.
• At least 2 years of solid customer service and administrative experience.
• Knowledge of customer service principles, business administration, public safety and security, and effective time management.
