About the role
Bayport Financial Services is looking for a Receptionist in Johannesburg. The role is the main link between the company, its customers and its employees, and requires a high level of professionalism and courtesy. It is a junior-level position on a permanent basis.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for the company
- Route incoming calls and handle visitor inquiries
- Create a welcoming environment for visitors
- Perform ad hoc administrative duties as and when needed
Required profile
- Matric and/or relevant equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service-related role
- At least 1 year of experience in the financial services sector
- 2+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant and/or Receptionist
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Resourceful, proactive, well organised and able to prioritise tasks
Required skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Internet, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
