Real Time Analyst

About the role

The Real Time Analyst is responsible for managing store staff scheduling needs, ensuring optimal and efficient rosters, and providing first‑line support for workforce management (WFM) queries. The role combines real‑time monitoring, reporting, and incident handling to maintain compliance across multiple stores.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise store staff schedules based on trading hours, skill requirements and keyholder coverage.
• Provide WFM support, handle queries and log incidents for system users.
• Conduct WFM model testing, user acceptance testing and maintain background jobs for automated processes.
• Generate weekly reports on unpaid grace, overtime, budget vs actuals, timesheet adherence and schedule compliance.
• Analyse database‑related issues, resolve problems and support WFM‑related projects.
• Act as the first‑response team for real‑time monitoring of store clocks and compliance tracking.

Required profile

• Minimum Matric/Grade 12 qualification; further studies in Mathematics, BSc, BCom, Statistics or IT are advantageous.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar WFM role, including scheduling, forecasting and real‑time monitoring.
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
