Quality Assurance Inbound Material Coordinator

About the role

The QA Inbound Material Coordinator ensures that all raw materials and rework products received for production meet UPL's specifications and quality standards. The role safeguards the supply chain by managing receipt, testing, documentation, and disposition of inbound materials while supporting broader quality assurance activities across manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical counts of incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
• Label and allocate materials to appropriate storage locations or production lines.
• Update the inventory master list in real time to maintain accurate records.
• Store materials according to specified requirements and resolve any receipt discrepancies.
• Conduct physicochemical analysis on inbound raw materials, including active ingredients and formulation inert components.
• Validate Certificates of Analysis (COAs) against UPL specifications and record results in the tracking database.
• Raise non‑conformances with suppliers and on internal platforms when materials do not meet specifications.
• Support non‑conformance management, troubleshoot product failures, and provide QA assistance to the manufacturing function.

Required profile

• Experience in quality assurance or material inspection within a manufacturing or agricultural environment.
• Familiarity with inbound material handling, inventory management, and documentation procedures.
• Ability to perform physicochemical testing and interpret analytical results.
• Understanding of COA validation and non‑conformance reporting processes.
