Provincial Mathematics Masterclass Facilitator (Part‑Time)

About the role

TGN Education is looking for ten experienced mathematics teachers to deliver three‑hour, after‑school Masterclass sessions across Gauteng schools. Each session focuses on a single CAPS‑aligned topic, providing deep conceptual understanding and exam readiness for 30‑80 learners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, three‑hour mathematics Masterclasses after school hours.
• Teach one selected CAPS‑aligned topic per session, using clear explanations and practical problem‑solving.
• Facilitate collaborative group‑learning activities and manage classroom logistics.
• Work with Academic Directors on Masterclass planning, quality assurance and post‑session debriefs.
• Maintain professional teaching standards throughout each session.

Required profile

• Registered SACE mathematics teacher currently employed in a Gauteng school.
• Ability to teach after‑school hours on a part‑time, independent‑contract basis.
• Strong command of the CAPS mathematics curriculum and examination requirements.
