About the role
The Project Manager will lead consulting projects across the full project life‑cycle, from initiation through to closure. The role focuses on engineering, science and environmental consulting activities such as mine engineering design, permitting, field investigations, desktop analyses and numerical modelling.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor and close low‑complexity consulting projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule and budget.
- Assemble and lead project teams, assign responsibilities, and secure required resources.
- Develop detailed project schedules and track progress against milestones.
- Serve as primary or secondary client contact, providing timely updates and guidance.
- Liaise with technical managers, internal accounting, and external stakeholders to manage risks and quality requirements.
- Coordinate quality reviews and ensure deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
- Support proposal development and integration of project approaches.
Required profile
- Proven ability to manage low‑complexity projects independently or as part of a larger project.
- Strong understanding of project scope, objectives and team roles.
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination.
- Capability to identify and seek support for risks outside personal expertise.
- Motivational leadership to guide multidisciplinary teams to successful outcomes.
