Professional Services Finance Consultant

About the role

As a Professional Services Finance Consultant you will partner with housing providers to implement and optimise MRI’s enterprise finance software. You will help clients improve operational efficiency, deliver essential housing services and create positive community impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of client operating models, finance processes and challenges.
• Design and configure software solutions that align with client workflows and operational needs.
• Lead implementation and integration projects, ensuring smooth adoption and providing hands‑on guidance throughout the lifecycle.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and produce clear documentation to support user adoption and knowledge transfer.
• Provide practical advisory on how the software can support business outcomes and improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in a consulting, implementation or client‑facing role within enterprise or finance software environments.
• Solid understanding of core finance processes such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Ability to translate client finance requirements into configurable software solutions.
• Strong functional and technical acumen with excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Organised, methodical and commercially aware approach to delivery.
