Product Manager – Institutional Onboarding

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to own the institutional onboarding experience at Luno. You will lead the development of a fast, low‑friction KYB process that enables institutions to access our platform across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end ownership of the Sumsub KYB integration for Luno Institutional, Blocktower and global onboarding.
• Reduce onboarding time from nine days to two and lower abandonment rates.
• Collaborate with compliance, legal and country teams to define “global access” requirements.
• Build and maintain feedback loops to monitor onboarding performance and iterate quickly.
• Manage third‑party vendor relationships and hold partners accountable for delivery.
• Translate regulatory and business goals into clear engineering specifications.

Required profile

• Experience building products for regulated customers, preferably in fintech or crypto.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments at the intersection of product and compliance.
• Proven ability to quantify drop‑off, prioritize work and drive cross‑functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, able to synthesize complex decisions for engineering and business audiences.

Required skills

• Experience with third‑party vendor integrations (e.g., KYB providers).
• Agile product development with engineering teams.
• Understanding of compliance, legal and regulatory considerations in financial services.
