Planner – Maintenance & Repairs (Hybrid, East London)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Planner to join a well‑known social housing organisation in East London. The role is hybrid, offering a blend of office and on‑site work from Monday to Friday, and is offered on a temporary basis.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance works for operatives and contractors.
• Manage diaries to ensure appointments are booked efficiently and within target timescales.
• Monitor daily workloads to maximise operative productivity and meet KPI targets.
• Update systems accurately to reflect job progress and completion.
• Support excellent customer service through timely communication and smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Experience in planning or coordinating maintenance activities, preferably within the social housing sector.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple diaries and schedules.
• Attention to detail and ability to keep records up‑to‑date.
• Good communication skills to liaise with operatives, contractors and customers.

Required skills

• Familiarity with scheduling or maintenance management systems.
