Pharmacy Manager – Retail Pharmacy

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Pharmacy Manager to lead the dispensary and clinic at Clicks Market Square. The role involves ensuring high‑quality pharmaceutical care, meeting sales and compliance targets, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dispensary and clinic, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing and generic substitution.
• Manage stock, shrinkage, housekeeping and administrative tasks in line with SAPC regulations and company standards.
• Drive financial performance through expense control, target achievement and sound financial management.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of pharmacists, learners and interns, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labour policies.
• Implement customer service initiatives that boost loyalty, club‑card participation and overall satisfaction.
• Coordinate integration with the clinic and health‑care aisle to provide a full offering to customers.
• Ensure employee records, time‑and‑attendance and HR documentation are accurate and submitted on schedule.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with SAPC registration and responsible pharmacist qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience after community service, with at least 1 year in people management.
• Experience in retail pharmacy (preferred) and familiarity with SAPC legal and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales, compliance and customer‑service targets.
