Personal Assistant (Cape Town)

About the role

Drop Zero Digital is a lifecycle marketing agency whose founder is moving to Cape Town around 20 November 2026. It is hiring one local personal assistant to work directly for him; the applicant is his first hire in the city and his main point of contact. Before he arrives, the assistant works remotely from Cape Town planning accommodation, finding a co-working space and setting up what is needed; once he is there, the job is in person.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the personal and social diary, including dating app admin, events he hosts and events elsewhere, and his photos and Instagram.
• Build his personal profile in the city.
• Handle personal life admin: bookings, errands, appointments, paperwork and other small tasks.
• Find and manage local help, starting with an on-call driver for the month, sourcing, vetting and briefing people.
• Handle some business admin as it arises.
• Handle personal and private information daily with discretion.

Required profile

• Lives in Cape Town and knows it well, including safe ways to get around.
• Available from 6 November 2026 for remote preparation and in person from 20 November 2026.
• Reliable internet, at least 30 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up, tested live.
• Strong written English.
• Comfortable with personal and social admin, including dating app logistics.
• A car and licence are helpful but not required.

Required skills

• Accuracy with dates, addresses and bookings.
• Planning within budget, time and safety constraints.
• Judgement in social situations and clear, honest communication.

• USD 1550 per month from day one.
