Payroll/HR Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Payroll/HR Administrator to join our well‑established client in Isando, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and maintain up‑to‑date HR records.

Key responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payroll within prescribed deadlines.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including appointments, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, leave, and terminations.
• Ensure payroll documentation is complete, accurate, and securely stored.
• Resolve payroll queries professionally and within agreed turnaround times.
• Perform full HR administration duties as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Relevant qualification in payroll, HR, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in wage and salary payroll processing and HR administration.
• Experience with payroll systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using payroll software.
