Part-time Human Resources Lecturer (Independent Contractor)

About the role

Eduvos is seeking an Independent Contractor to join its Potchefstroom campus as a Human Resources Lecturer on a part‑time basis. This role offers a flexible schedule aligned with normal business hours and allows you to share your expertise while maintaining a balanced work‑life rhythm.

Key responsibilities

• Lecture commerce‑related modules within the Faculty of Human Resources on a part‑time basis.
• Deliver course content, facilitate discussions, and assess student performance.
• Prepare and update teaching materials, including slides and case studies.
• Support departmental administration, including scheduling, record‑keeping, and coordination of academic activities.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Experience teaching or lecturing at tertiary level, preferably in commerce or HR subjects.
• Demonstrated ability to engage adult learners and adapt teaching methods to diverse student needs.
• Ability to work independently under a flexible, part‑time schedule.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Human Resources principles and commercial subjects.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in using learning management systems and standard office software.
