Paid Media Consultant

About the role

OMG is seeking a Paid Media Consultant to plan, execute, and optimise paid media campaigns for our clients across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. The role is remote, supporting Australian‑based clients while the candidate works from South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch and manage paid media campaigns on Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube.
• Translate client goals into effective paid‑media strategies aligned with broader marketing objectives.
• Own full‑funnel execution covering awareness, consideration and conversion.
• Set up new accounts and create campaigns for new clients.
• Write ad copy and conduct keyword research and analysis.
• Manage daily budgets, optimise performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Produce weekly/monthly reports with actionable recommendations.
• Deliver engaging strategy presentations and reporting to clients.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in paid‑media advertising (excluding influencer marketing).
• Strong background in Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube advertising.
• Hands‑on PPC/SEM experience and interest in ecommerce analytics.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics and keyword research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, high attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude and experience in a digital agency is advantageous.
• Based in South Africa and able to work AEST 9 am‑5 pm (1 am‑9 am SA time).
