On-site Handyman in Bloemfontein

About the role

The company is seeking an on-site Handyman to manage general building maintenance, inspections and repairs at its Bloemfontein location. The role involves responding to maintenance requests, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting tenant move‑ins.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, inspections and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical and lighting issues.
• Identify faults, report specialist maintenance needs, and complete work orders.
• Maintain maintenance records, tools, stock and ensure premises are clean, safe and well maintained.
• Assist with tenant inspections, installations, move‑ins and communicate with tenants, management and service providers.
• Conduct fire safety checks and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Matric certificate is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and occupational health and safety procedures.
