Occupational Health Advisor

About the role

We are looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to join our growing global team. Working closely with the Head of OH Operations and senior OH staff, you will deliver both onsite and remote occupational health services to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a daily workload, ensuring efficient use of time and resources across the OH team.
• Provide evidence‑based advice on occupational health matters to contracts and stakeholders.
• Assess and manage medical referrals, supporting corporate attendance management procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of workplace hazards, worker health conditions and relevant legislation.
• Consult with HR, employees and representative organisations on health, safety and wellbeing issues.
• Contribute to health promotion campaigns and participate in meetings, consultations and committees.
• Maintain practice standards in line with Nursing and Midwifery Council regulations and keep accurate records.
• Support additional OH services such as technician, OHP, counselling and physiotherapy as required.

Required profile

• SANC registration (essential).
• Minimum 2 years experience in occupational health.
• Previous experience delivering OH services in a corporate setting.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and NMC validation.

Required skills

• Occupational health assessment and case management.
• Medical referral coordination.
• Knowledge of occupational health legislation and best practice.
