About the role
The Nightshift Fleet Controller oversees cargo transportation during the night shift (18:00‑07:00). You will supervise drivers, maintain communication with clients, and ensure smooth, efficient operations throughout the night.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and manage driver movements during the shift.
- Record and report all incidents and accidents that occur during the shift.
- Communicate with drivers to ensure adherence to schedules set by Fleet Controllers and Schedulers.
- Maintain clear communication with clients when necessary.
- Ensure drivers follow the correct routes as planned by Fleet Controllers and Schedulers.
- Perform any other tasks required by management or supervisory staff.
Required profile
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- Previous experience in the transport industry (advantage).
- High level of focus, reliability, and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Microsoft programs.
- Computer literate.
