Night Shift Pharmacist

About the role

Zulzi is seeking a qualified, SAPC‑registered Pharmacist to support its online pharmacy operations during the night shift. The role runs from 15:00 to 00:00 and focuses on safe, accurate prescription processing, dispensing, and patient care in a high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review, process, and dispense prescriptions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Supervise prescription labelling, picking, packing, and medication supply.
• Ensure compliance with SAPC regulations, pharmacy legislation, and internal SOPs.
• Assist patients with medication‑related queries and provide appropriate pharmaceutical guidance.
• Process and resolve medical aid claim issues.
• Monitor and manage dispensary stock, including receiving and inventory control.
• Support efficient order fulfilment and timely delivery of pharmaceutical care.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
• Experience in retail or community pharmacy settings.
• Fluent in English; additional South African language is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shift hours between 06:00 and 00:00, including overtime.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
