New Car Sales Manager – Mazda/BAIC/FOTON

About the role

We are seeking a New Car Sales Manager to lead the sales of Mazda, BAIC and FOTON vehicles. The role starts as soon as possible and focuses on driving gross profit, managing a high‑performing sales team and executing effective marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Sell new vehicles to maximise gross profit.
• Hire, train, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly targets.
• Develop and implement advertising, marketing and sales promotion strategies.
• Maintain customer value proposition and retention.
• Handle customer complaints and preserve professional relationships.
• Oversee day‑to‑day department operations.
• Monitor and understand financial performance.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
• Ability to analyse sales data, identify trends and work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Minimum 3‑5 years experience as a new‑car manager, preferably with Chinese brands.
• Proven ability to motivate staff in a commission‑based environment.
• System knowledge of CMS, Evolve and quick learning of OEM systems.
• Valid endorsed South African driver’s licence.
