About the role

The Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality is seeking qualified professionals for several positions within its Budget & Treasury and Corporate Services departments, including financial planning, inventory management, payroll, telephone operations and website management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial data, prepare forecasts and support senior managers in budgeting and financial planning.
• Manage municipal inventory, conduct stock counts and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Process payroll, calculate allowances, issue tax forms and address employee queries.
• Handle incoming calls, route them appropriately, maintain call records and monitor telephone usage.
• Develop, design, maintain and update the municipality’s website, ensuring content quality and technical performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Public Finance Management, Information Technology or related fields.
• Relevant experience ranging from 2 to 3 years, with at least one year in a supervisory or middle‑management role for finance positions.
• Computer literacy and proficiency with municipal software systems such as Pastel Evolution and SAGE People Payroll.
