Mobile Application Developer (C#) – Contract

About the role

PBT Group is looking for a Junior to Intermediate Mobile Application Developer to join a delivery team focused on enterprise mobile solutions. The role is contract‑based and will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, creating and maintaining mobile apps that integrate with backend systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive mobile applications for Android, iOS or cross‑platform environments.
• Implement backend integrations using C# and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and database interactions.
• Participate in unit testing, system integration testing and code reviews to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues and support ongoing enhancements.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, testers and other developers in Agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Junior to intermediate experience in mobile application development.
• Strong C# programming skills and solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with API integration and mobile deployment processes.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
