Manufacturing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Manager to lead our textile and soft‑furnishings production in Johannesburg. The role combines operational excellence with a passion for quality and craftsmanship, supporting a design‑led brand that creates luxury products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end production processes including cutting, sewing, finishing and packaging.
• Manage in‑house production teams as well as external CMT (cut‑make‑trim) partners.
• Ensure on‑time delivery while maintaining world‑class quality standards.
• Oversee production planning, stock control and maintain ERP (Sage) data accuracy.
• Develop, mentor and grow the production workforce.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in textile or soft‑furnishings manufacturing.
• Proven leadership managing machinists, cutters and external suppliers.
• Strong understanding of quality control in a premium environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage.
