Logistics Manager – Technology Sector

About the role

The Logistics Manager will oversee the strategic and operational aspects of logistics, fleet, courier services, import/export administration, and new business installations for a technology company. The role ensures safe, efficient, cost‑effective delivery of services while meeting agreed service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics and coordinate national transport requirements.
• Negotiate and manage courier and freight service providers, optimizing transport costs.
• Schedule and track deliveries nationwide, ensuring service level compliance.
• Oversee full fleet management including vehicle administration, licensing, servicing, inspections, driver allocation and compliance.
• Control fleet budgeting, fuel consumption, preventative maintenance and vehicle readiness.
• Handle import and export logistics, cross‑border documentation, customs clearance and export compliance.
• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of new customer projects, from onboarding to installation coordination.
• Produce logistics performance reports and monitor expenditure against budget.

Required profile

• Proven ability to coordinate across Sales, Operations, Finance, Technical Services, Customers, Courier Providers and Channel Partners.
• Strong experience in managing logistics, fleet operations and import/export processes.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on timely resolution of logistics delays.
