Logistics Information Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Information Specialist drives digital transformation in Logistics and Supply Chain by supporting digital business strategies, optimizing processes and using technology, data and analytics to improve performance. The role shapes the future state of Logistics in the Africa Zone through innovative digital solutions, better stakeholder engagement and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Logistics Tier 1 and Tier 2 Digital Business Strategy, turn it into projects and roadmaps, and monitor delivery against milestones and objectives.
• Lead digital transformation projects from concept to implementation, applying agile methods and keeping projects on scope, budget and time.
• Map current supply chain and logistics processes, identify inefficiencies, design future-state processes and support change management.
• Use data and analytics to measure performance and support decisions, developing dashboards and reports in Power BI and supporting SAP solutions.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders, run workshops and trainings, coach business teams and promote data-driven decision-making.
• Stay informed of emerging technologies and champion continuous improvement and innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Software Development or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Transformation or FMCG operations.
• Proven project management and business transformation experience, with process improvement, business analysis and digital transformation exposure.
• SAP experience (essential), Power BI development and reporting experience, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally; project management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum or equivalent) is advantageous.
