Load & Capacity Specialist – Logistics

About the role

Nestlé is seeking a motivated Load & Capacity Specialist to join its logistics team in Longmeadow, Edenvale. You will work closely with planning and execution teams to ensure efficient transportation planning and carrier management for a leading FMCG brand.

Key responsibilities

• Execute transport strategies that balance cost, service level and timely carrier allocation for all planned loads.
• Identify and resolve carrier coverage gaps, escalating when necessary to maintain optimal performance.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for carrier queries, ensuring swift resolution and clear communication.
• Drive high First Pass Acceptance rates through effective planning and carrier engagement.
• Prepare complete export documentation and coordinate inspection appointments to meet regulatory requirements.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships through proactive communication and service excellence.
• Identify and implement continuous cost‑saving initiatives without compromising service or compliance.
• Provide backup support for the line manager as required.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or Transport Management.
• 1‑2 years of experience in logistics, customer service, distribution, demand‑supply or physical logistics within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Proactive attitude, strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
• Resilience to change, compliance mindset and customer‑centric approach.
