Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Premier FMCG is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations across receiving, handling, storage, picking and dispatch. You will ensure efficient use of space, meet inbound/outbound targets and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all warehouse activities, ensuring optimal floor space and height utilization.
• Oversee picking, checking and invoicing of daily orders according to priority.
• Minimise stock losses and manage damaged or bad goods in line with procedures.
• Enforce stock rotation, accurate counts and timely COA requests.
• Monitor and achieve daily KPI targets, completing reports on schedule.
• Conduct regular warehouse inspections with staff participation.
• Approve any cuts or alterations on picking slips.
• Communicate incidents promptly and maintain accurate incident logs.
• Ensure inbound and outbound loading/off‑loading targets are met.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• At least 2 years supervisory experience in a FMCG or similar warehouse setting.
• Proven experience in stock and warehouse management, health & safety and industrial relations.
