Learning & Development Manager

About the role

WNS Global Services is looking for a manager to develop and manage the implementation of the Strategic Business Units' learning and development strategy, and to govern the operational training function and team for assigned business units. The role contributes to talent development, builds client relationships and delivers training solutions, manages service level agreements and training outcomes, and fosters a learning environment that supports transfer of learning and performance impact. It is based in Claremont with a 24/7 rotational schedule, Monday to Sunday.

Key responsibilities

• Operational training and talent development business partnering
• Manage, lead and develop the operations training team
• Own the business unit learning strategy and the delivery of aligned training
• Manage the operationalisation of training, its business alignment and evaluation
• Create blended learning solutions using existing courses and resources
• Handle learning and development quality management, reporting, governance and compliance
• Measure training business impact and drive continual improvement
• Oversee the learning environment, coaching and mentoring processes

Required profile

• National Certificate/Diploma in OD, ETDP, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business Administration, Operations Management or similar
• Degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business Administration, Psychology or Industrial Psychology, Operations/Performance management would be beneficial
• Minimum 7 years' experience in a managerial role in operations management training or as a Learning & Development leader in an operational or business delivery environment
• Experience designing, developing and delivering learning programmes
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams across multiple stakeholders
• Skills development needs analysis, design, facilitation and leadership experience

• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, especially MS Excel
