Key Account Manager – Vitality Health International (Nigeria)

About the role

Discovery is seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to lead the sales, marketing and distribution of Vitality Health International products in Nigeria. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with partner insurers, intermediaries and corporate clients to drive growth and retention of health insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strong connections with senior stakeholders at corporate clients and partner insurers.
• Identify and pursue innovative growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Educate intermediaries and clients on the Vitality Health International value proposition through presentations and face‑to‑face interactions.
• Manage the end‑to‑end onboarding process for new employer groups.
• Own revenue, growth and retention targets for key accounts and contribute to forecasting.
• Build strategic partnerships with broker houses to support sales objectives.
• Handle objections, clarify agreements and ensure positive outcomes.
• Provide periodic reporting on market trends and critical content.

Required profile

• Proven experience in key account management, preferably within health insurance or related financial services.
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex product information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Results‑driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.
