About the role

The Service Centre Administrator will work in the Sandton store of Pepkor Lifestyle, supporting customers and contributing to the overall performance of the retail environment. This role blends customer service with retail administration, offering a pathway to develop a career in the retail sector.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service, assisting shoppers and ensuring a positive experience.
• Support sales targets through product knowledge, customer engagement and upselling.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge to advise customers accurately.
• Execute merchandising and store presentation standards, keeping displays attractive and organized.
• Contribute to safety and security procedures, protecting customers, staff and merchandise.
• Collaborate with the retail team to achieve shared objectives.
• Manage own duties independently, demonstrating reliability and accountability.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• 1–2 years proven retail experience.
• Customer service experience in a retail setting.
• Ability to work effectively within a retail team.
• Capability to contribute toward sales targets.
• Willingness to maintain current product knowledge.
• Ability to support store presentation and merchandising standards.
• Commitment to safety and security requirements.
• Self‑management skills to handle responsibilities independently.
