Junior Warehouse Controller

About the role

The Junior Warehouse Controller will support daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely distribution of spare parts across hangars, outstations and airports. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with weekly cycle counts and maintain precise documentation of spare‑part movements.
• Update the ERP system (SAM) and Flow Centric to reflect receipts, dispatches and internal transfers.
• Prepare shipping documentation and packaging in line with work instructions.
• Direct parts to required locations, deliver spares to hangars, and draw/issue items from the main warehouse.
• Respond to spare‑part requests received via email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Perform general warehouse duties, daily housekeeping, and ensure controlled access to the facility.
• Carry out ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• C1/B driver’s licence (essential) and a valid driver’s licence (EB) (advantageous).
• 1–2 years of warehousing experience.
• Willingness to work shifts, travel as needed, and use own transport.
• Flexible, reliable, self‑starter, team‑oriented and punctual.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP SAM.
• Experience using Flow Centric.
• Forklift operation (advantageous).
• Valid C1/B licence.
