About the role

Hatch is seeking motivated graduates to join its Digital Consulting team in Johannesburg as Junior Software & Systems Engineers. The role supports digital transformation projects, leveraging technologies such as digital twins, systems integration and autonomous execution to improve client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Improve project outcomes by applying digital twin concepts and systems integration.
• Support decision‑making, autonomous execution and integrated operations for clients.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver project deliverables.
• Develop mentoring relationships with experienced professionals.
• Travel locally and internationally as required.

Required profile

• Passion for software and systems engineering.
• Innovative thinker with a drive to create positive change.
• Strong academic record with a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
