Junior Investment Administrator

About the role

The Junior Investment Administrator will join the Institutional Operations Administration team, supporting day‑to‑day investment processing and record‑keeping. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented individual who enjoys working with numbers in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately process and settle investment transactions, including trades, transfers, and payments.
• Maintain and update transaction and client account records to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Assist clients with inquiries related to transactions and account management.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports on transaction activity, account status and key metrics.
• Administer direct properties, off‑market investments, listed derivatives, cash reconciliations and scrip clearances.
• Support change initiatives, projects and system transitions by translating business requirements into effective processes and controls.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

Required profile

• BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Investments.
• 1‑3 years of experience in asset‑management operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial instruments such as fixed income, hedge funds, private markets and bonds.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, IF statements, macros).
