Junior Handyman – Maintenance

About the role

Fancourt, South Africa’s premier golfing, leisure and lifestyle destination, is seeking a motivated Junior Handyman for its Maintenance department. You will support day‑to‑day upkeep of the resort’s facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across the property.
• Carry out minor carpentry and plumbing tasks.
• Configure, move, and assemble furniture as required.
• Replace lightbulbs, perform basic electrical fixes, and undertake painting jobs.
• Assist the broader maintenance team and complete any additional duties assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 (or equivalent) qualification.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a similar maintenance or handyman role.
• Reliable personal transport and accommodation in George or surrounding areas.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and shift patterns.
• Physically fit and able to handle routine manual tasks.
