Inventory Clerk – Finished Goods Management

About the role

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing all finished‑goods (FG) inventory within the logistics supply chain. You will ensure product quality standards are met, maintain accurate SAP records, and enforce inventory governance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Apply FG quality standards, block inventory in SAP for quality‑related and obsolescence stock, and enforce freshness and rotation policies.
• Conduct independent inventory counts, reconcile results with SAP, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and report findings.
• Record all physical movements of FG inventory in SAP, validate packaging receipts, and process write‑offs, breakages, salvages, and obsolescence stock accurately.
• Review daily controls, manage open shipments, process claims with proper documentation, and monitor cost variances.
• Ensure all documentation is signed‑off, filed securely, and that security cameras and random verifications are performed.
• Perform three‑point independent checks on T1 & T2 shipments for departure and arrival.
