Product Manager (On Demand Delivery Execution)

About the role

Takealot Group is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of its on‑demand delivery execution platform. You will shape the roadmap, align technical and operational teams, and ensure fast, reliable delivery for customers across South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the product roadmap for on‑demand logistics execution features.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, operations and executive leadership to translate business needs into product initiatives.
• Gather detailed functional requirements through stakeholder workshops and convert them into measurable projects.
• Partner with technical leads to set clear technical direction and oversee project delivery.
• Monitor KPIs, conduct analysis and champion continuous improvement in product management practices.
• Work with QA and conduct user acceptance testing to ensure high‑quality releases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Commerce.
• At least four years of experience in product management, business analysis or a related role.
• Experience in logistics, on‑demand delivery platforms or e‑commerce is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering superior customer experiences.
