Internal Sales Representative

About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for an Internal Sales Representative to join a fast‑paced, customer‑centric organisation where your sales expertise and ability to deliver exceptional client experiences will directly contribute to business success. The role focuses on supporting customers, processing quotations and orders, and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts. You will act as the liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and exceed customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide sales support by processing quotations and orders for customers.
• Manage customer enquiries and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Ensure seamless communication between customers and internal departments throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in internal sales, customer service, or sales support.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and handling multiple priorities under pressure.
• Grade 12/Matric qualification; further studies in sales, marketing, business management or related fields are advantageous.
• Experience working in technical, industrial, manufacturing, electrical or distribution environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail.
