Sales Engineer - Valves Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Valve, Actuator or Technical Sales Engineer to join our network of technical sales professionals in Gauteng. The role focuses on delivering specialised solutions for valves, actuators, instrumentation and flow‑control systems across key industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities in mining, petrochemical, manufacturing, power generation and process industries.
• Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring long‑term client satisfaction.
• Provide technical support and solution selling to address complex customer requirements.
• Drive sales growth by identifying market opportunities and tailoring solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to customise valve and actuator packages.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of flow‑control technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering qualification (or related field).
• Mechatronics qualification – advantageous.
• Instrumentation or Process Engineering qualification – advantageous.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in technical sales.
• Proven track record in valves and actuators sales.
• Experience within industrial, mining, manufacturing, petrochemical or process environments.
• Strong understanding of flow‑control solutions.
• Ability to provide technical support and solution selling.
• Experience in industrial process solutions.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and process automation.
