Intermediate DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Automation

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate DevOps Engineer to join a large, regulated organisation that places technology at the heart of its strategy. The role will focus on ensuring platform stability, improving deployment pipelines and supporting development teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance services to millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and support existing applications and systems.
• Build and maintain scalable, automated and secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Support containerised environments using Kubernetes and Rancher.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of production incidents and implement preventative solutions.
• Design and document troubleshooting, monitoring and maintenance procedures.
• Contribute to application and DevOps road‑maps aligned with business priorities.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering or a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Rancher (v2.5+), Azure DevOps and Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation and system monitoring.
• .NET development experience is essential; exposure to Angular, React or Node.js is a plus.
• Basic supervisory or mentoring experience is beneficial.
