Integrated Marketing & Communication Lead, CIB Investment Banking

About the role

Liberty is looking for an experienced Integrated Marketing & Communication Lead to shape the marketing strategy for its Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) Investment Banking unit in Johannesburg. The role will translate business objectives into integrated campaigns that acquire new clients, deepen existing relationships, and increase the commercial value of the business unit.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies tailored to the CIB Investment Banking segment.
• Design and execute client acquisition and relationship‑building campaigns.
• Manage marketing projects from planning through execution, monitoring and reporting.
• Oversee media, events, sponsorships and broader communications activities.
• Use data and performance metrics to inform campaign development and measure effectiveness.
• Ensure all activities align with Liberty Group’s brand guidelines and standards.

Required profile

• A first degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience developing and executing B2B/B2C marketing plans, preferably in financial services or investment banking.
• Proven end‑to‑end project management experience across media, events, sponsorships and public relations.
• Strong analytical ability to use data and metrics to guide strategy.
