Human Resources Manager

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for an HR Manager to join its team at Park Inn Polokwane. The role brings a strategic vision to the HR function, supports a positive workplace culture and focuses on the personal and professional growth of the workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of the Human Resources Department, managing all areas of responsibility.
• Maximise guest service and the team experience, responding positively to enquiries and resolving problems.
• Develop and implement plans so that HR initiatives and hotel targets are achieved.
• Work with key stakeholders, managing and reviewing the team's life cycle and fostering growth, development and performance.
• Own the HR budget and training plan, helping management evaluate team performance.
• Review employee resourcing, compensation, development, training and succession plans and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, with due diligence documented for internal and external audits, and follow up as required.

• Proven HR experience with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent leadership skills, hands-on and leading by example.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to find creative solutions and give advice and recommendations.
• Personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment demanding excellence, time and energy.
