Human Resources Manager – Alberton

About the role

The company is seeking a proactive Human Resources Manager to lead HR activities for a construction business with approximately 60 staff members. The role requires bilingual fluency in English and Afrikaans and a solid background in the construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Employee Relations and dispute resolution
• Remunerance and payroll administration using Sage Payroll
• Recruiting, onboarding and performance management
• Development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Training and development initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EE Act, Skills Development Act)

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
• 5‑10 years of HR experience in a construction or project‑based environment
• Extensive exposure to ECA and DOEL frameworks
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Willingness to travel; a valid driver’s licence is required
